McKinney Housing Authority (TX) Invests in New Playground Equipment from American Parks Company
McKinney, TX (PRWEB) July 27, 2015 -- The McKinney Housing Authority recently looked to their business neighbors in American Parks Company to help them source, select, and install new commercial playground equipment for their facilities and neighborhood.
The mission of the McKinney Housing Authority is to serve the housing needs of low to moderate income families in the authority's jurisdiction. The "Rhyme 'n Reason" is designed to entertain at most 40 children simultaneously. It features 3 different slides, one of which encourages socialization by promoting competition as a side-by-side race to the bottom; and they're all equally fun in their own right. The playground structure also houses 3 climbing activities to improve physical fitness and challenge the bodies of the young children. There is also a Playwheel component which inspires imaginative play; children can think of the entire play structure as a ship they must navigate, or some other vehicle at their command.
