Playtime for Cthulhu: New Collection Lovecraftian Stories
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) April 20, 2015 -- 'Playtime for Cthulhu' is a new collection of quirky short stories that takes the creations of classic horror author H. P. Lovecraft to new dimensions. These stories use settings as diverse as Beat-Era 1950s New York, to Detroit in the eighties, to the 21st century obsession with internet sensation.
Dennis J. Stevens, known for films created under his Catzilla Productions umbrella, has decided to stick to the written word. 'Writing was the aspect of film making I enjoyed the most, so it made sense to take a couple of ideas make them into publishable stories. The stories are sort of quirky, and owe as much to the Twilight Zone as to Lovecraft. I tried to follow the basics of storytelling, but I also just took the story wherever it needed to go to be entertaining.'
'Playtime for Cthulhu' is self-published through CreateSpace, an Amazon subsidiary. It is available on Amazon as a paperback and in Kindle versions.
