Plustek Announces New eScan Features at EDUCAUSE

The eScan is a standalone network scanner with a large touch screen that can automate schools’ document management, OMR data collection and assessment grading.
Plustek eScan is capable of scanning page documents, identification cards and other cards. It allows staff members to manually scan related documents to supported document management systems, content management systems, e-mail, USB and network folders. These form images can be read into Remark Office OMR, from Gravic Inc., for further processing and grading. eScan also offers a job button grouping function which allows users to create unlimited buttons and groups them by departments, job titles or job functions.
In addition to eScan, Plustek will showcase its TWAIN complaint document scanner PS458U (80 PPM) and PS4088U (40 PPM). Both scanners feature automatic image enhancement and offer the best price in their class.
