Point Park University's School of Business Partners with Portfolium for ePortfolios and Assessment
Point Park University's Rowland School of Business has chosen Portfolium's Student Success platform to provide students with the ability to capture learning artifacts and link them directly with competencies made searchable to employers.
SAN DIEGO, Jan. 22, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Point Park University's Rowland School of Business has chosen Portfolium's Student Success platform to provide students with the ability to capture learning artifacts and link them directly with competencies made searchable to employers.

Portfolium's assessment software and ePortfolios will allow faculty to validate School of Business students' real-world skills demonstrated in curricular and co-curricular learning environments, beginning with initiatives targeting First-Year and Second-Year students. Portfolium's full-integration with Schoology will allow administrative relief from previous assessment practices that combined in-house and Strategic Planning Online (SPOL) software.
Point Park's Rowland School of Business program will also begin rolling out Portfolium's ePortfolio and assessment platform to capture and track career-ready skills gained from the program's many co-op, internship and career opportunities. The School of Business program currently boasts connections to more than 40 companies and a 100 percent employment placement rate. Skills learned from the full-time, paid work experience provided from the program can be stored and made readily-accessible through Portfolium's portable and free-for-life platform.
