South Florida Real Estate Firm PointOne Holdings has partnered with Atlanta’s TPA Residential to develop a luxury multifamily residential community in Suwanee, a high-end northeastern suburb of Metro Atlanta, Georgia.

McGinnis Ferry Apartments will be a 345-unit luxury class “A” 3 and 4-story garden-style multifamily community built on 19.6 acres in Suwanee, GA. The project is located in the rapidly growing northeastern suburbs of Metro Atlanta with direct proximity to I-85 and I-985, giving future residents premier access to major employment nodes including in-town Atlanta, Norcross, Gainesville, and Lake Lanier. Suwanee is located approximately 17 miles northeast of the city’s perimeter and is considered one of Georgia’s premier suburbs.

The JV recently closed the acquisition and financing for the project and construction will soon be underway, with first units delivering in Q2 2022.

Minutes from the site are over 200,000 jobs and industrial nodes and Suwanee Creek Park, which is a 4-mile span of hard surface multi-use recreational trails. The greenway has been considered one of metro Atlanta’s favorite and most popular running, walking, and cycling trails.

McGinnis Ferry Apartments will include a modern pool featuring grilling areas, fire pits and other outdoor amenities. In addition, the residents will benefit from a fully equipped fitness facility which will include both cardio and weight training areas, a large co-working/business center including a cybercafé, dog park with dog wash facility and private detached garages. Apartment homes will feature 9 ft ceilings, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, ceiling fans and walk-in closets.

“We are excited to partner up with TPA Residential to develop this extraordinary multifamily project,” said Leo Peicher, PointOne Holdings' Managing Partner. “We have an excellent site in one of the fastest growing markets in Metro Atlanta, and a partner with an exceptional track record.”

“We are proud to add this project to our portfolio of multifamily developments, bringing PointOne Holdings to 2,428 units under construction across eight properties,” says Ben Colonomos, PointOne Holdings’ Managing Partner. “Located in the highly sought-after Suwanee submarket, this property will offer residents high-quality living in an open, suburban environment.”

Gwinnett County is presently the second largest county in the state of Georgia with an estimated population of 920,260 according to the most recent United States census data. It has led the nine county Atlanta MSA over the past 46 years in population growth.
