Pond Lehocky Giordano Wraps Up its Fifth Annual "25 Days of Giving" Campaign
With the new year upon us, Pond Lehocky Giordano LLP, the largest workers' compensation and disability law firm in Pennsylvania, has put a bow on its fifth annual "25 Days of Giving" campaign.
PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 11, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- With the new year upon us, Pond Lehocky Giordano LLP, the largest workers' compensation and disability law firm in Pennsylvania, has put a bow on its fifth annual "25 Days of Giving" campaign.
For the fifth straight year, the law firm, through its Pond Lehocky Community charitable arm, spread holiday cheer beginning on December 1, 2021, by contributing to charities nationwide selected by the firm's clients, attorneys, and staff.

The 25 organizations Pond Lehocky Giordano supported during its 25 Days of Giving campaign are:
1. Justinian Foundation - The Justinian Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1996. The charitable arm of The Justinian Society (1935), the Foundation's sole purpose is to provide financial assistance to law students currently enrolled in an accredited law school in a program of study leading to a Juris Doctor degree.
2. Families Forward - Families Forward operates Philadelphia's largest emergency shelter for families experiencing homelessness, serving 65 families nightly, as well as maintaining 80 transitional and permanent supportive housing units in West Philadelphia. They play an important role in offering a pathway out of poverty and homelessness in Philadelphia, supporting an average of 250 families annually across its programs.
3. AFSP Greater Philadelphia - Established in 1987, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is a voluntary health organization that gives those affected by suicide a nationwide community empowered by research, education, and advocacy to take action against this leading cause of death.
4. Share Food Program - Share Food Program is a growing regional food distribution group that distributes food to 1,000,000 neighbors in need each month, over 50% of whom are children, and 12% of whom are seniors or people with disabilities. Share Food started in 1986 as a food co-op for communities in need of access to low-cost food in Philadelphia.
5. No Kid Hungry - No Kid Hungry is a national campaign run by Share Our Strength, a nonprofit working to solve problems of hunger and poverty in the United States and around the world. After 25 years of successfully investing in local nonprofits and helping find the best approaches to eradicating poverty and hunger, Share Our Strength launched No Kid Hungry in 2010.
6. PSPCA - The PSPCA's mission is to protect animals, prevent cruelty, and to improve their health and quality of life throughout Pennsylvania. They do this through four physical locations – North Philadelphia, Danville, Lancaster, and Main Line Animal Rescue, as well as through their Humane Law Enforcement Department, which covers 18 counties throughout the state.
7. Back on My Feet - A national nonprofit that issues the power of fitness, community support, essential employment, and housing resources to combat homelessness.
8. Beverly's Birthdays - Beverly's Birthdays provides birthday cheer and critical baby care items for children experiencing homelessness and families in need. They spread birthday cheer 365 days a year. Today, nearly one in four children in the U.S. live at or below the poverty line.
9. Disability Pride PA - Disability Pride PA promotes more visibility and cultivates the pride felt within their community as they advocate for an inclusive world. Disability Pride PA imagines a world where every disabled person feels pride through self-awareness, their identity, and their community at large.
10. Children of Promise Inc. - The mission of Children of Promise Inc. is to support quality residential and educational services for children and youth. Furthermore, they are committed to fostering a sense of responsibility and accountability in children and youth by creating opportunities.
11. Project HOME - The mission of the Project HOME community is to empower adults, children, and families to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty, to alleviate the underlying causes of poverty, and to enable all of us to attain our fullest potential as individuals and as members of the broader society. Project HOME strives to create a safe and respectful environment where all are supported in their struggles for self-esteem, recovery, and the confidence to move toward self-actualization.
12. Operation Gratitude - One of the largest and most impactful nonprofit organizations in the country that provides hands-on volunteerism in support of military veterans and first responders.
13. ADL – Anti-Defamation League - To stop the defamation of Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment to all.
14. Laurel House - The Mission of Laurel House is to advocate for and empower those impacted by domestic violence by providing crisis intervention, safe haven, supportive programs, and resources; and advance social change through preventative education, community training, and collaboration to foster a coordinated response to domestic abuse.
15. Lupus Foundation of America - Their mission is to improve the quality of life for all people affected by lupus through programs of research, education, support, and advocacy.
16. Maleek Jackson Fitness Boxing Gym (Azzim Dukes Initiative) - The Azzim Dukes Initiative is a youth anti-gun violence program at the Maleek Jackson Fitness Boxing Gym. Reducing the incidence of gun violence requires interventions through all systems— health, the family, home, legal, public health, public safety, and community. They offer a proactive versus reactive response to the culture of Philadelphia's gun violence.
17. Epilepsy Foundation - Through public policy, legal advocacy, and grassroots engagement at the local, state, and federal levels, the Epilepsy Foundation raises awareness about the epilepsies and issues affecting the epilepsy community and seeks positive change.
18. Lisa's Army - Lisa's Army is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing comfort to courageous individuals currently undergoing cancer treatments.
19. Rock Ministries - A bible, boxing gloves, and 5 boys. That's how Rock Ministries started. With its goal to reach at-risk, inner-city youth with the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Rock has now grown to serve over 11,000 kids through sports, arts, music, recreation, mentoring, and bible studies.

Special Olympics PA - The mission of Special Olympics PA is to provide year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, and experience joy.
22. American Red Cross - The American Red Cross, through its strong network of volunteers, donors, and partners, is always there in times of need.
23. William Way LGBT Community Center - The William Way LGBT Community Center seeks to engage and support the diverse LGBTQIA+ communities in the Greater Philadelphia Area through arts & culture, empowerment, and community connections.
24. Travis Manion Foundation - TMF strives to unite and strengthen communities by training, developing, and highlighting the role models that lead them. TMF develops programs, training opportunities, and events designed to empower veterans and families of the fallen, and then inspires them to pass on their values to the next generation and the community at large.
