DURHAM, N.C. (PRWEB) January 14, 2019
Popular social spot Boxcar Bar + Arcade recently opened their third North Carolina location on Thursday, January 10th. Located at 621 Foster Street in downtown Durham, this is the first Boxcar location to include an open pizza kitchen within the main bar, featuring a rotating, brick pizza oven at the center of the kitchen’s design.
With over 10,000 square feet of space, the Durham location boasts more than 70 classic and modern arcade games, a full bar (featuring a wide selection of local craft beer, wine & spirits) and dedicated space for private events. A sizable, covered outdoor seating area is underway, set for completion by Spring, where customers can sit, play games & enjoy a front row view of the adjacent, historic Durham Athletic Park.
Durham locals have been anticipating Boxcar’s expansion to the city for quite some time, and owner Jerrad Bement has also been looking forward to the newest addition to the Boxcar family. “This is an exciting time for Boxcar, to be able to open our doors in a city that’s experiencing such rapid growth, to people who are extremely passionate about and supportive of local businesses. We couldn’t be happier to be a part of Durham’s continued growth, and we’re thrilled to be a part of this unique community," says Bement.
