Practicing Clinicians Exchange and the Association of Pulmonary Advanced Practice Providers Partner to Deliver Excellence in Pulmonary Medicine
New Partnership Will Launch a Series of Educational Initiatives Developed Exclusively for NPs and PAs Specialized in Pulmonary Medicine
RESTON, Va., Jan. 11, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Practicing Clinicians Exchange® (PCE), an innovative, multichannel educational provider created specifically for nurse practitioners (NPs) and physician assistants (PAs), announced today that it has partnered with the Association of Pulmonary Advanced Practice Providers (APAPP), the first ever pulmonary medicine-focused association of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs; including both NPs and PAs). PCE and APAPP join their significant forces to develop educational programs for this growing group of healthcare professionals during a time when so much has changed within the specialty of pulmonary medicine.
"PCE is thrilled to partner with APAPP," said John Tierney, General Manager of PCE. "Partnering with APAPP supports the mission of PCE which is focused on improving clinical care and patient health outcomes through the delivery of up to date, clinically relevant, evidence-based educational activities that advance interprofessional practice. We are excited for what is to come and can't wait to start creating value for both PCE and APAPP members."
In 2021, this new partnership will launch a series of educational initiatives beginning with a pulmonary boot camp developed exclusively for NPs and PAs specialized in pulmonary medicine that delivers a deep dive into pulmonary diseases. The goal is to become the primary resource for all education for the NPs and PAs practicing in pulmonary medicine.
"APAPP has a clear mission to promote excellence in the field of pulmonary medicine by providing education, networking, and support for Advanced Practice Providers," said Corinne Young, Founder and President of APAPP. "This partnership provides APAPP members with valuable educational programs tailored to meet their specific needs. PCE has a long successful history of educating NPs and PAs so deciding to partner with them was an easy decision. We are excited for what the future will bring for both APAPP and PCE."
