Precise, Inc. Videography Team Zooms in on The Rendell Center’s K-8 Student Civics Curriculum
PHILADELPHIA (PRWEB) September 26, 2018 -- Precise, Inc., a trusted litigation technology firm, has partnered with The Rendell Center for Civics and Civic Engagement to produce an instructional video that facilitates implementation of the Center's literature-based mock-trial program for students. The video provides an overview of the lesson plans and features scenes of the student mock-trial exercises in action. Teachers, attorneys, and Rendell Center staff who have participated in the program coach educators through interviews by sharing their experiences and tips for a successful experience.
The mission of the Rendell Center, which was established by former Pennsylvania Governor Edward Rendell and Judge Marjorie Rendell, is to promote civics education and responsible citizenship engagement. The Rendell Center team worked with Precise videographers, Jaime Muth and Christopher Petersen, to create an instructional video that would instruct teachers on how to conduct a literature-based mock trial in their classrooms. The interactive program helps elementary- and middle-school teachers educate children about the judicial system while strengthening the students’ reading, writing, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
In addition to offering a range of litigation-support technology solutions, Precise provides attorneys legal videography for depositions, for pre-trial conferences, and for trial. Collaborating with the Rendell Center was a natural fit to record and edit the video for the program.
