Prem Rawat Foundation Marks Peace Day With Initiatives to Make Peace Possible
In this new video "Who Are You?", Prem Rawat responds to this question by exploring human nature and emphasizing that personal peace is possible. The Prem Rawat Foundation offers the Peace Education Program to help make that possibility a reality for people.
LOS ANGELES, Sept. 20, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- In solidarity with the U.N. International Day of Peace on September 21, The Prem Rawat Foundation (TPRF) produced a stunning new video to grow awareness that peace is possible for people across the planet. In complement to the video awareness initiative, TPRF offers the Peace Education Program, which is changing lives in more than 30 countries by helping diverse groups of people discover an inner sense of strength and contentment.
TPRF makes the multimedia peace education workshop series, which is non-religious and non-sectarian, available for individuals and organizations at no charge.
The goal of the Peace Education Program to help people live more peaceful and fulfilling lives dovetails well with the purpose of Peace Day. Established by the United Nations in 1981, the annual occasion aims to bring all of humanity together to commit to peace above all differences.
In the new Peace Day video, TPRF Founder Prem Rawat presents peace as a feeling that is inherently available to all people no matter our flaws.
"Fear is in you and courage is in you. Confusion is in you and clarity is in you. War is in you; and peace is in you," he says. "Understanding and knowing that the good is in you—this is the core of emotional strength, physical strength, mental strength. Consciously make a choice. Understand that the possibility of peace is here with you."
He created The Prem Rawat Foundation to address the fundamental human needs of food, water, and peace so that people can live with dignity, peace, and prosperity. TPRF initiatives are based on the premise that personal peace is the strongest foundation for world peace.
"Who Are You" and other inspiring TPRF videos will be featured throughout Peace Day on two premier independent video broadcasts: Peace Channel and PeaceCast.tv. The Peace Channel broadcast will be shown on the U.N. website and will include motivating messages from leading artists and activists. PeaceCast.tv will highlight content from a long list of notable organizations working to create cultures of peace and prosperity.
PeaceCast.tv will also present a live video stream of a "Waves of Change" Peace Day event at Fairfield Halls in London, U.K. Organized by TPRF's U.K. charity partner, Peace Partners, the event will feature a variety of artists and leaders who are exploring innovative solutions to youth violence, including the Peace Education Program.
Showing strong support for TPRF peace initiatives, previous Peace Day videos have received more than 15 million views.
