Prem Rawat and Scouts Association Malaysia recently signed a landmark agreement to offer the Peace Education Program to youth throughout the country.
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 6, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Scouts Association Malaysia recently signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Prem Rawat Foundation (TPRF) to offer the Peace Education Program to youth throughout the country.
The MoU, which was signed by National Chief Scout, Major General Prof. Dato' Dr. Haji Mohd Zin bin Bidin, and Founder of Peace Education Program, Prem Rawat, is expected to pave the way for the first batch of scouts to start on the program shortly. The Scouts Association is the largest youth organization in Malaysia and agreed to work with TPRF to help make the innovative video-based workshop series available to scout communities at schools across the nation.
Featuring Prem Rawat's insightful video presentations and other dynamic activities, the Peace Education Program helps empower participants to discover their own inner strength and personal peace. Over 300,000 people have already participated in the program in 80 countries, with research showing a wide range of benefits for youth including enhanced resilience, self-awareness, hope and appreciation for life.
The Peace Education Program nicely complements the Scout's objective to support peaceful actions for the betterment of mankind.

The collaboration between Scouts Malaysia and The Prem Rawat Foundation goes back a long way, since Prem Rawat and Chief Scout Allayarham Tan Sri Dr. Hj. Shafie Mohd Salleh signed the 2014 "Pledge to Peace" to help young people to do more to bring about a peaceful world. At that time Prem Rawat was honored with the Scouts Award of Friendship.
For more than 50 years, Prem Rawat has spoken to hundreds of millions of people in more than 100 countries to help empower people from all walks of life to discover personal peace. Prem Rawat is the New York Times bestselling author of "Hear Yourself: How to Find Peace in a Noisy World."
