Premium Service Brands Appoints Franchising Veteran Iric Wexler as Chief Development Officer
The home services industry expert looks to drive system-wide growth for the multi-brand franchisor in 2021.
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., Dec. 2, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Leading home services franchisor Premium Service Brands (PSB) announced today the appointment of franchise industry veteran Iric Wexler as chief development officer. In this role, Wexler will lead the brand's strategic vision for growth across the Renew Crew, 360º Painting, ProLift Garage Doors, Maid Right, Handyman Pro, Rubbish Works and Kitchen Wise brands in 2021 and beyond.
Despite a difficult economy for most industries amid the pandemic, Premium Service Brands finished the third quarter with a 44% increase in year-over-year revenue. The home services industry continues to show resilience, and PSB has built solid momentum that Wexler will build upon in 2021.
"At a time of tremendous growth for our company, we are truly delighted to welcome Iric to our family to drive future system growth," said Paul Flick, chief executive officer of Premium Service Brands. "His leadership and understanding of how to successfully grow franchise brands will allow us to leverage our momentum into the new year and capitalize on exciting new opportunities for our brands."
A franchise industry veteran, Wexler helped lead the growth of several successful home services franchises. He started at The Cleaning Authority in 2003, and soon thereafter became the VP of franchise development. In 2019, he was appointed chief development officer for its parent company, Authority Brands, which also includes America's Swimming Pool Company, Mosquito Squad, One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning, and other growing home service franchises.
At Authority Brands, Wexler grew the development department to a team of 20 that supported growth to greater than $1.6 billion in system revenue. Wexler also founded FranForward, a franchise incubator that provided emerging franchise brands with the infrastructure, tools and resources to achieve responsible and sustainable growth. Most recently, Wexler served as an advisor and investor in Silver Maple Solutions, a B2C sales vertical offering emergency response and remote patient monitoring devices.
"What Paul is building is unique, because unlike other multi-brand franchisors who are focused on acquiring mature brands, PSB is acquiring emerging brands with strong business models that can be strengthened by the processes and systems that PSB has evolved," said Wexler. "The growth potential for the brands themselves is tremendous, but what's also exciting is the growth potential as a franchisor. While 2020 has been a tumultuous year for many brands, PSB has fared well, and I look forward to making 2021 the best year yet."
