FRESNO, Calif., Nov. 22, 2024 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Reaffirming its dedication to the community, PrideStaff has continued to partner with the Fresno Mission to support vital programs and services. Recently, PrideStaff employees volunteered to serve meals and provide kitchen support at the nonprofit's G Street location to help individuals and families in need.
In addition to hands-on service, PrideStaff rallied its employees, associates, and clients to participate in the Fresno Mission's Giving Thanks and Gratitude Food Drive. Their collective generosity resulted in the donation of over 800 cans of food, providing Thanksgiving meals to those facing food insecurity.
These efforts reflect PrideStaff's ongoing dedication to making a difference in the communities it serves and honoring the values instilled by Founder George Rogers. In 2023, The George & Melodie Rogers Foundation, a charitable organization established to continue George's legacy, donated $1.5 million to the Fresno Mission to help complete the initial phase of the first-of-its-kind City Center. The shared campus brings together over 20 organizations and ministries focused on meeting peoples' emergency needs, including housing, a medical clinic, a free grocery store, youth support services, a coffee shop, and a dinosaur-themed playground with a dinosaur affectionately named Georgie.
Last year, PrideStaff's Home Office also made one of the top 10 largest food contributions to the Fresno Mission. The record-setting donation weighed 1,211 pounds and nourished guests at the Fresno Mission's Dakota Street and G Street locations.
