The new certification demonstrates that PRO has eclipsed stringent third-party independent assessments of its security as a cloud service provider.
To attain the Cyber Essentials certification, organizations must demonstrate that they have addressed the most common Internet-based threats to cyber security, including:
- Hacking: exploiting known vulnerabilities in Internet-connected devices, using widely available tools and techniques
- Phishing: ways of tricking users into installing or executing a malicious application
- Password Guessing: manual or automated attempts to log on from the Internet by guessing passwords
