Process Mining in the Fastest Analytics Database: PAFnow and Exasol Enter Partnership
The Process Analytics Factory (PAF), a leading Process Mining provider from Darmstadt (Germany), and Exasol AG, provider of the fastest database for analytics and data warehousing, are cooperating with immediate effect as part of a technology partnership. With the help of PAFnow in Microsoft Power BI, event logs existing in Exasol can be analyzed directly in the Exasol database. Any intermediate steps via SQL or another data lake are no longer necessary. This means that Exasol customers not only use the fastest available analytics database, but also have direct access to one of the leading Process Mining solutions in Microsoft Power BI. The starting point for the partnership is a joint project for OTTO, in which PAFnow was integrated directly into Exasol for the first time.

The decision in favor of PAFnow was also made considering that OTTO's employees already use Microsoft Power BI as their underlying platform.
