NEW YORK, March 3, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- This March, world-class explorer, Emmy Award-winning television host, and president of The Explorer's Club, Richard Wiese, in conjunction with Life's Tough Media, will launch a new podcast, Life's Tough: Explorers Are TOUGHER!, to bring to listeners the incredible and compelling stories of our planet's most elite explorers, adventurers, and humanitarians.
The announcement was made today by Dustin Plantholt, Founder & CEO of Life's Tough Media.
"We created Life's Tough with the idea that 'Every story has a purpose,'" said Plantholt. "There is perhaps no one on Earth with more riveting, purposeful stories than modern-day explorers—those who push the frontiers of outer space, go deep into the ocean abyss, or explore the unknown. We are so excited to partner with Richard Wiese in creating this ground-breaking new series to bring their inspirational and captivating stories to listeners worldwide."
In the series, Wiese will interview a different explorer each week—with each season comprising twelve (12) episodes. Confirmed 'Season One' guests are a who's who of adventure, science and exploration, including Bertrand Piccard (the 21st century's greatest explorer and first person to complete a non-stop balloon flight around the world); extraordinary mountaineer & philanthropist Peter Hillary (son of Sir Edmund Hillary); planetary scientist and Mars Rover controller Nina Lanza; deep-sea explorer Victor Vescovo; space tourism entrepreneur Richard Garriott; paleontologist Ken Lacovara; zoologist & cheetah conservationist Laurie Marker; Amazon tribal expert David Good; and more.
"Explorers are the type of people who walk in space, go to bottom of oceans, and stand on the highest summits," said Weise. "Scratch the surface of any explorer and you'll find that they are all amazing storytellers. That's what Life's Tough: Explorers Are TOUGHER! is all about—providing incredible tales of discovery, struggle and survival."
Produced by Life's Tough Media, Life's Tough: Explorers Are TOUGHER! launches on March 4th and will be available on all your favorite podcasting platforms, and at http://www.lifestough.com.
The debut season is sponsored by Ripple, a leading enterprise blockchain company building decentralized financial solutions for the real world.
