Professional Physical Therapy, a leading provider of outpatient physical therapy and rehabilitation services throughout New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire, announces the opening of a brand new, state-of-the-art clinic in Bloomfield, NJ.

As many companies unfortunately had to close their doors as a side effect of the COVID-19 pandemic, the opportunity for us to expand our offices and give more space to even better adhere to social distancing guidelines is a truly exciting opportunity.

Despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Professional Physical Therapy opens a new clinic as an opportunity to continue to put patient care first. The additional office location in this area allows for patients to be more socially distanced and give residents a closer choice for care. This location will also follow the strict cleaning protocols put in place company-wide, which include ULV (Ultra-Low Volume) fogging, non-touch digital temperature reading, masks and gloves, and the frequent cleaning of high-traffic touch points.

Connor Dering, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS is the new Clinical Director of the Bloomfield facility, located at 31 Broad Street. He received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University, and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences from Stockton University. Dering is a certified provider in Sportsmetrics ACL injury prevention, Blood Flow Restriction, and he is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

Dering said of his new role at Bloomfield, “I couldn’t be more excited about the opportunity to expand our coverage as a company into the Bloomfield community. We have several offices servicing the neighboring towns, and this is a great opportunity for us to expand our quality care to patients in the Bloomfield community and provide them with easier access for us. As many companies unfortunately had to close their doors as a side effect of the COVID-19 pandemic, the opportunity for us to expand our offices and give more space to even better adhere to social distancing guidelines is a truly exciting opportunity.”
