Separately, today, Proficient Health announced that David Hoover, MD, a practicing pediatric surgeon and founder of MD Interconnect, is joining the company as its new chief medical officer. Karen Hohenstein, CEO and cofounder of MD Interconnect, is joining the Proficient Health board of directors and will support the company as a business development consultant.
