Project Management Institute (PMI) Chicagoland Chapter Opens Registration for their Annual 2020 Virtual PM Symposium
The PMI Chicagoland Chapter, serving 5000 members of the Project Management Institute organization, is adapting to the current way of having events. Their annual professional development day, historically held in-person, will be in a 3D-virtual setting for 2020. The PM Symposium is a day where members, typically project managers at all skill levels, gather together to earn PDUs or to enhance their professional development. The symposium will have multiple learning tracks, vendor booths, and on-demand videos - all delivered virtually.
CHICAGO, Aug. 6, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The PMI Chicagoland Chapter, working within the confines of the current pandemic situation, is holding their annual professional day virtually, featuring it as the 2020 Virtual PM Symposium. Building upon the theme of "The Transformative Project Manager in the Next Decade," the chapter has brought together multiple presenters, known for their expertise in the Project Management field. The PM Symposium will have three keynotes, including Dr. James T. Brown, Kory Kogan, and Al Shalloway, in addition to nine deep-dive breakout sessions broken out into three tracks that align to the PMI Talent Triangle.
PMI Members can earn up to 17 PDUs by attending the day-long event with sessions on the latest trends, tools, and innovative project management techniques. A variety of topics will be discussed among them: Artificial Intelligence Trends, Disciplined Agile (DA), Risk Management, and Team Building. All sessions will be live-streaming and on-demand so that attendees can re-visit the sessions for thirty-days following the event.
