SAN JOSE, Calif., May 31, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Project X at Cogswell Polytechnical College took every component of animated film production and turned it into a capstone learning experience for college students. This year, the Project X animated short film "Chiaroscuro" has been accepted into four film festivals spanning from Denver, Colorado to London, England.

All concept, character design, modeling, texturing, effects, rigging, lighting, rendering, animation, compositing, and production management were created by teams of students in collaboration with faculty and professional industry advisors.
Project X is an exclusive opportunity for students to integrate their coursework skills and experiences in an industry standard, rigorous production pipeline. The hours are long and the work is grueling, but this total immersion experience creates an animation studio environment conducive to quality, camaraderie, and high production value.
