Among this year's honors are two Standard of Excellence awards from the annual WebAwards competition; two Davey awards; and three Horizon Awards, each for projects in diverse fields ranging from education to sports to nonprofits and beyond.

Among the year's honors, several stood out: the Gold Davey award for Project6's work on CareerGirls.org, a 501(c)(3) organization aimed at helping school-age girls explore careers in STEM fields, was particularly aligned with Project6's mission of serving the nonprofit sector. Similarly, receiving a gold Horizon Award for the redesign of CrossFit Games' website, was a gratifying moment: "The athletes competing in the CrossFit Games are extraordinary," remarks Sesto. "It has been incredibly exciting to create a web presence worthy of their spirit, and to help bring this global community closer together through the site's new features." And Project6 has long prided itself on serving the Higher Education community—as an approved vendor for several top universities in the Bay Area and beyond—so naturally the awards for their redesign of the Clackamas Community College website, complete with WCAG 2.0 level AA accessible design, were particularly noteworthy. "Our ties with the Higher Ed community are strong, and our partnerships with these schools have produced some of the work we're most proud of," Sesto says.
