In an effort to help the 36 million low-literate adults in the U.S., ProLiteracy, the leader in adult literacy content development, programs, and advocacy for more than 60 years, is pleased to announce that Learning Upgrade®, the math and literacy app that changes lives, will now be available through New Readers Press, the publishing division of ProLiteracy. New Readers Press and Learning Upgrade will provide libraries, adult schools, colleges, and literacy programs with a unique solution for adult basic education instruction, including reading, math, high school equivalency, and English as a second language.

The innovative Learning Upgrade platform provides step-by-step lessons to let anyone with a smartphone, tablet, or computer learn English and math to succeed in school, earn a diploma, get a better job, or enter college. The secret to Learning Upgrade courses is combining the latest educational research and curriculum standards with pop music styles, video gaming, animation, assessment, reward certificates, and progress tracking. To date, Learning Upgrade has helped over one million students find a new path to learning success.
