ProMAX Introduces NDI Direct Capture to Platform Storage Beta Testing
Amseterdam, NL (PRWEB) September 12, 2018 -- ProMAX Systems, a world leader in integrated workflow technology for creative media organizations, proudly announces the launch of their NDI Direct Capture Beta Program for current customers. This new feature will streamline the process of capturing NDI streams by allowing users to capture them directly onto their Platform storage server.
In traditional NDI Capture, production teams need to filter their NDI streams through a capture software before having access to the video files. The traditional process eats up a large amount of network traffic and requires a high-performance workstation that can handle the amount of resources dedicated to the NDI Capture process. With NDI Direct Capture there is no need to filter the NDI streams through a capture software and they are sent directly to the ProMAX Platform server. By directly capturing the NDI streams to their storage device the network is not impacted and users still have full access to perform editing and rendering tasks. This process can even be initatied from a lower end workstation connected via WIFI or a VPN.
