Prova Education Nominated for Prestigious Digital Award by Medical Marketing & Media (MM&M)
Prova Education named finalist for 2020 MM&M Awards in the category of 'Best Digital Initiative for Non-consumers', continuing its 2020 streak of industry recognition
FORT WASHINGTON, Pa., Sept. 11, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Prova Education is honored to be nominated in the category of 'Best Digital Initiative for Non-consumers' by Medical Marketing & Media (MM&M), leaders in healthcare marketing and media recognition. This MM&M nomination expands Prova Education's industry recognitions following the win of two Telly Awards in 2020.
Prova Education's digital initiative showcases a National Eye Institute (NEI) Blindness Prevention Initiative on the Eye Health Academy website. More than 30 million Americans are at risk for vision loss and blindness as a complication of diabetes. Eye Health Academy delivers a sweeping curriculum to address practitioner educational gaps. The initiative represents a partnership among Prova Education, NEI (of the National Institutes of Health [NIH]), the National Eye Health Education Program (NEHEP), and ReachMD. Funding for the initiative was provided through an educational grant from Regeneron Pharmaceuticals.
"Prova Education is incredibly proud to make the finalist list for this prestigious award," said Rob Braun, President of Prova Education. "More than 40,000 American adults lose their vision every year, and this educational partnership and Eye Health Academy curriculum are making a difference in patient outcomes."
To date, more than 80,000 healthcare professionals have engaged in educational programming with this initiative on Eye Health Academy, spanning multiple healthcare professional disciplines.
MM&M winners will be announced on October 8, 2020.
