Director of Cyber Security: Jared was the Director of Compliance at Peak Reliability (Reliability Coordinator function) where he managed compliance for both Operations and Planning (O&P) and Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) for four years. Prior to that, he was a CIP Auditor and CIP Audit Team Lead at WECC. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Jared is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Business Resilience Manager (CBRM), Certified Business Resilience Auditor (CBRA) and Masters Achievement in Business Resilience (MABR).
Carl Bench, CISA, PSP
Senior CIP Consultant: Carl has over 11 years of experience in the electrical industry as an IT Systems Operator, CIP Auditor, and Audit Team Lead. He was most recently a CIP Auditor and Audit Team Lead at the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC). As an Auditor at WECC he gained unique experience in compliance program management and audits. Carl holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Management. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Physical Security Professional (PSP), Certified Business Resilience Manager (CBRM), and Certified Business Resilience Auditor (CBRA).
