During the first four months of 2021 PupDefense doubled its customer base month over month, hired two additional employees, started the process of moving to a more scalable manufacturing partner, expanded its retail presence to the east coast, and opened a new office in VentureX's new Naples Startup Hub. This continued company momentum speaks to the significant market opportunity and demand for the Cane Toad Repellent delivered by PupDefense. The company also announced a new strategic investor named Daniel Kalliontzis. Daniel brings over 20 years of startup leadership experience, especially in the e-commerce and manufacturing field. Daniel has been on the German version of the television show Shark Tank and his latest invention, AvoSeedo, has led to over 1 million new Avocado trees being planted worldwide.

In August of 2020, PupDefense started selling its product at Goodness for Pets in Naples. From there, the company quickly expanded its retail business in Southwest Florida into 12 additional stores. In 2021 PupDefense further expanded its geographical retail footprint to the east coast of Florida.
