Pure Rosy, Period Underwear That's Changing the Game
Style and fashion meet technology with Pure Rosy's launch of their period underwear. This is their first collection created in efforts to empower women and reduce the carbon footprint caused by disposable period products.
NEW YORK, Jan. 25, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Fashion meets function with Pure Rosy's launch of sustainable underwear. By women, for women, Pure Rosy was created for those with irregular periods, normal cycles, and everything in between.
Forget everything you thought you knew about your period. Tampons, pads, liners? Say goodbye to those. Pure Rosy just launched their first ever collection of ultra stylish period underwear that's really meant to be worn any day of the month, and any day of your cycle. From heavy flow to light, the underwears' custom technology and hyper-absorbent fabric has you covered. The brand frames the new product offering as a "feel good, do good, look Great pair of undies that may well replace the Pure Rosy customer's current top-drawer underwear/lingerie, whether she's on her period or not.
Pure Rosy was created with women in mind. The goal is to make the daily impact of periods less disruptive to both the wearer and our planet by providing a product that is reusable and allows for free bleeding. By using Pure Rosy underwear, girls and women don't have to worry about putting something foreign inside their body and/or causing unnecessary waste to our planet. Pure Rosy wants periods to be less taboo and their goal is for women to not have to fear getting their periods. Their underwear is incredibly thin and soft, unlike any other sanitary underwear on the market, so that it can be used daily even when women are off their period. Each of the 4 fashion-tech layers soak up moisture and can be rinsed with water once taken off and before washing. Pure Rosy even has a leak proof zip bag to store used underwear in until you can throw it in the wash.
Pure Rosy also works with non-profit organizations that help aid women in Tanzania who don't have their daily necessities provided, none the less period products available to them. Their goal is to send women in need patented Pure Rosy fabric and teach them how to sew their own reusable underwear. Founder, Linda Miller, also announced that Pure Rosy's corporate parent, It's Personal Girl, Inc. had recently completed a private round of funding (at a valuation she was hesitant to disclose) and anticipates a further financing round post-launch of the three initial Pure Rosy fashion-tech underwear. Pure Rosy also aims to partner solely with women owned and operated businesses when creating their products, because empowering women in the workforce is what they're all about.
