Puritan Medical and Hardwood Products Hosts an Employee Celebration That Was 100 Years in the Making
Puritan Medical Products Co. LLC, along with its sister company Hardwood Products Co. LLC, celebrated its 100-year anniversary on Friday, July 26 with a special event for employees and their families.
GUILFORD, Maine, August 1, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Puritan Medical Products, LLC, along with its sister company Hardwood Products, LLC, celebrated its 100th anniversary on Friday, July 26 with a special event for employees and their families. The evening included dinner, employee awards, and a performance by the central-Maine-based Mallett Brothers Band.

Puritan also honored its employees with company-wide "100th-day" holiday in April.
At the 100th celebration event, Puritan and Hardwood also awarded 36 individuals with tenure certificates to recognize their long-time service. Seasoned employees Richard Williams and George Sprague topped the list, having worked for the organizations for 55 and 45 years respectively, while Robert Miller, Tracy Porter, Deborah Larson, and Lorne Noiles comprised the "up-and-comers division" with 30 years of service.
Several local town officials and local legislators also joined the celebration to congratulate the organizations on achieving the century milestone, including state senator Paul Davis, and state representative Paul Stearns.
