Lola who immigrated to the United States six years ago from the Philippines, is a two time champion on National Physique Committee (NPC) tour. She gained notoriety in 2015 when she won both the NPC Branch Warren Championship and the NPC Battle of Champions in her first full year of competition.
It is her personal story, though, that attracted many followers. At 44 Lola was a grandmother, an immigrant in an unfamiliar country, and had recently lost her brother to cancer. According to Lola, at this point she decided to take her life and health into her own hands. She transformed her body in just a few months, started competing with the NPC, and is now one of its most popular athletes.
