Pype, an innovative software company providing cutting-edge time and money saving solutions for the construction industry, adds a key investment partner, Blackhorn Ventures, LP, and enters into multiple new enterprise partnerships in the last quarter of 2018.

"Pype is one of those rare, truly transformational solution-providers. Their products use AI natural language algorithms to automate a set of time-consuming pain points in the built environment sector that previously have taken weeks and reducing the time required down to minutes. With the excellent team in place and a growing list of blue-chip construction industry customers, we see a strong and bright future ahead for Pype.” says Dr. Raymond Levitt Operating Partner of Blackhorn Ventures.

“2018 was a strong year for Pype’s growth, and I anticipate that to scale in 2019,” says Sunil Dorairajan, Pype’s Co-Founder and CEO. “Pype has become a trusted name in the industry, evidenced by our growing number of partnerships in the ENR top 400. Companies are seeing the value Pype’s solutions bring to their project teams.”

Pype’s constantly evolving trio of products - AutoSpecs, Closeout, and eBinder - use machine learning to continuously drive dramatic increases in productivity and improve projects’ bottom line for industry powerhouses such as McCarthy, Jacobson, JE Dunn, and Clark. In Q4 of 2018 alone, Pype acquired multiple new enterprise partnerships including several in the ENR top 100 - PCL Construction, Devcon, and Webcor. Pype’s software is currently used on thousands of projects across both the United States and Canada, and the company looks toward further expansion in 2019.

“We are finding tremendous opportunities to automate construction workflows using machine learning and AI,” says Karuna Ammireddy, Pype’s Co-Founder and CTO. “We’re confident in the solutions we’ve developed to address certain pain points in the construction industry, but we’re not done innovating. Our customers share their challenges, and we listen; there’s way more to come.”

Pype plans to release additional game-changing software solutions in 2019. The company is well positioned in the market with its current suite of products, and looks toward expanding its reach with pioneering solutions that address the challenges of a wider AEC market.
