Qgiv Releases Integrated Facebook Fundraising Tool for Peer-to-Peer Campaigns
Qgiv has partnered with Facebook to create a unique fundraising integration that will combine the company's peer-to-peer campaign tools with the Facebook fundraisers API.
LAKELAND, Fla., Aug. 19, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Qgiv, a leading provider of nonprofit fundraising technology, now offers a direct integration with Facebook fundraisers, enabling nonprofit clients to extend the reach of their peer-to-peer campaigns through a centralized fundraising dashboard. Nonprofits and their supporters can leverage their Facebook networks to raise more money with Facebook fundraisers that actively sync to the organization's Qgiv peer-to-peer event.
"With Facebook fundraisers bringing in over $1 billion dollars since being introduced four years ago, it's more important than ever for nonprofits to meet their supporters where they are. This new integration gives nonprofit supporters easy and effective fundraising tools to raise even more money for causes that they care about," said Kendra Sinclair, Facebook Strategic Partner Manager.
"This integration will seamlessly bring our clients' fundraising campaigns into a platform where thousands of nonprofit supporters already spend hours of their time—Facebook," said Qgiv Vice President of Product Development, Chris Morata. "The popular birthday fundraisers we see all over Facebook are a great example of the success peer-to-peer fundraising can have on Facebook, so we're excited to bring this directly into Qgiv! This new integration comes at the cusp of fall event season, giving nonprofits more opportunity to optimize their fall fundraising, DIY, and Giving Tuesday campaigns."
Nonprofit clients that implement the Facebook fundraisers API integration will have access to reporting, integrations, and dashboards where they can see the source of every donation within their peer-to-peer campaign, including donations received through Facebook. Supporters will be able to create a Facebook fundraiser that will match the branding and messaging of their Qgiv peer-to-peer fundraising page. The two-way data sync updates progress thermometers on both the individual supporters' Facebook fundraisers and an organization's peer-to-peer event.
For access to the integration, nonprofits must already be enrolled with Facebook Payments and meet Facebook's requirements for proof of nonprofit status. Nonprofits interested in implementing the Facebook fundraisers integration in time for fall events and peer-to-peer campaigns can request a demo from Qgiv at https://www.qgiv.com/peer-to-peer-fundraising.

About Facebook Fundraising
To make it easier for people and communities to raise money on Facebook, Facebook has built free tools to help people collect donations and enable supporters to fundraise for nonprofits. Through Donate buttons on Pages, posts, and videos to nonprofit and birthday fundraisers, and the Fundraiser API, people can support the organizations they are about.
Nonprofits using Facebook's payment platform to process donations pay no fee — 100% of the donations go to the charity.
The Fundraiser API connects off-Facebook fundraisers to Facebook to help participants meet their fundraising goal faster by allowing them to easily reach their Facebook friends. On average, connected fundraisers raise over $150 through Facebook.
