QHotels of LaPlace LA Give Back this Holiday Season to Their Local Community with their Continued Partnership with Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)

LAPLACE, La., Dec. 17, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Vimal Patel of QHotels, a hotel management company that manages the Staybridge Suites Lake Charles and other hotels in Louisiana, is proud to continue their established partnership by giving back to a selected charity organization, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). This will be the 2nd year for Staybridge Suites Lake Charles and 3rd year for the QHotels as a management company.

CASA has various offices that extend over all of Louisiana, including areas represented by QHotels in Lake Charles and LaPlace. The non-profit organization focuses on serving abused and neglected children within the system. Vimal Patel and QHotels wanted to be a part of their objectives this, and each, holiday season.

This year, both the QHotels corporate office and the Southeast Louisiana hotel enjoyed a visit from Santa Claus on December 3rd in addition to a donation of $1,000 to families in need. Combined donations over the lifetime of their partnership now totals $6,000. These donations help many Southwest Louisiana and River Parishes children within the local community during the holidays and difficult times. This relationship with CASA has specifically allowed team members of QHotels to help children that may have been removed from homes due to neglect or abuse.

The Child Advocacy Services CASA Program recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers who serve as powerful voices for abused and neglected children as they navigate through the court system. CASAs are every day community members appointed by a judge to advocate for children in need of care. A CASA stands beside the child with the primary goal of helping them reach a safe and permanent home, as quickly as possible.
