'These community efforts started with my family and I, and we have expanded it to be a part of the QHotels mission statement," says Vimal Patel of QHotels.
LAPLACE, La. (PRWEB) December 17, 2018
Vimal Patel of QHotels, a hotel management company that manages the Staybridge Suites Lake Charles and other hotels in Louisiana, is proud to continue their established partnership by giving back to a selected charity organization, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). This will be the 2nd year for Staybridge Suites Lake Charles and 3rd year for the QHotels as a management company.
CASA has various offices that extend over all of Louisiana, including areas represented by QHotels in Lake Charles and LaPlace. The non-profit organization focuses on serving abused and neglected children within the system. Vimal Patel and QHotels wanted to be a part of their objectives this, and each, holiday season.
This year, both the QHotels corporate office and the Southeast Louisiana hotel enjoyed a visit from Santa Claus on December 3rd in addition to a donation of $1,000 to families in need. Combined donations over the lifetime of their partnership now totals $6,000. These donations help many Southwest Louisiana and River Parishes children within the local community during the holidays and difficult times. This relationship with CASA has specifically allowed team members of QHotels to help children that may have been removed from homes due to neglect or abuse.
“These community efforts started with my family and I, and we have expanded it to be a part of the QHotels mission statement. QHotels wants to be a community partner and continue this tradition of giving back locally in the River Parishes,” says Vimal Patel of QHotels.
This holiday season the corporate office of QHotels strives to bring happier holidays and hope to children’s faces during the holidays and into the new year.
Established in 1997, QHotels is a hospitality and development company, headquartered in LaPlace, Louisiana. QHotels offers both hotel management services and development services. Their strong ties with Marriott, IHG, Hilton and Best Western help deliver strong return to each partner. Their mission is to inspire extraordinary results, advance knowledge, and strengthen our communities. Contact QHotels via http://www.qhotels.co or by calling 1-985-618-1700.
About Child Advocacy Services CASA
The Child Advocacy Services CASA Program recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers who serve as powerful voices for abused and neglected children as they navigate through the court system. CASAs are every day community members appointed by a judge to advocate for children in need of care. CASAs work collaboratively with professionals in the child welfare system and report to the judge on the child’s behalf. A CASA stands beside the child with the primary goal of helping them reach a safe and permanent home, as quickly as possible. In 2017 alone, 212 volunteers served 523 children through the Child Advocacy Services CASA Program.
