Leading medical alert service provider QMedic has launched a remote multi-lingual outreach program to deliver coordinated Coronavirus (COVID-19) messaging and guidelines to older adults living at home. This outreach program is being conducted in partnership with QMedic’s managed care organization (MCO) partners across the country.

The typical QMedic member has 3+ chronic conditions and receives QMedic services through an MCO partner. “Addressing geographic and language barriers is critically important to this endeavor,” says Mishra. “For example, members who speak Spanish or Creole in South Florida should receive different information in their preferred language versus a Mandarin speaker in New Jersey or an English speaker in Minnesota. With our smart technology platform, QMedic is well positioned to scale up unbiased personalized messaging to these at-risk populations, and to do so quickly.”
