SEATTLE, Aug. 21, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Qorus, one of the world's premier sales enablement and proposal management platforms for remotely based proposal management teams, will be co-presenting Keep Calm and Lead On: Leadership in Times of Crisis , a leadership-focused educational session as part of ILTA>ON, a 5 day virtual legal business and technology educational conference, produced by the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA). Qorus CEO Ray Meiring will be joined by Parker Poe CIO Skip Lohmeyer and Kim Sully, Co-Founder and Partner with Pivot Legal Solutions.
The fireside chat-style discussion will be featured as part of Monday, August 24th's (day one) leadership programming, and is the first general ILTA>ON session following Stephen Carver's opening keynote.
Led by 'MC' Qorus CEO Ray Meiring, the educational session is focused on crisis-based leadership and how to successfully adapt and strategize in the face of constantly changing challenges.
Leadership topics to be covered include hallmarks of a great leader; empathizing with and motivating internal teams while being sensitive to emotional turmoil and hidden challenges; ramping up communications, especially in remote working environments, and collaborating with clients and customers to overcome challenges.
"When COVID-19 brought everything to a grinding halt in March, we turned to our North Star, our customers, and made sure we understood their challenges, plans, and concerns," shared Ray Meiring. "Success in leadership for me has come from strengthening personal relationships, true interaction with friends and business partners, not my LinkedIn network."
Skip Lohmeyer, a U.S. Army veteran, and seasoned legal IT executive is no stranger to leading teams through crisis and change. "When it comes to leadership, I always focus on learning from others, caring for others, providing a clear vision, and listening. Leaders are not an island, listening to others helps the whole team build trust and produce better results."
According to Kim Sully, predicting a crisis is futile, but preparing for one is critical. "Focus on developing a culture of trust, empowerment, respect, and great communication every single day so that when the crisis hits you are confident that you have the right team and mindset in place to tackle the challenge together."
