The integration provides automation for retailers using the Like Sew point of sale to easily identify low stock items to optimize inventory levels, automate PO / RO creation, and automatically add new QT Fabrics products to their point of sale and website.
Retailers can automatically pull low inventory items into their QTFabrics.com shopping cart for reorder by clicking on the new "Like Sew Order Assist" button in the cart. This helps retailers prevent running out of stock on popular items, so they don't miss out on sales. Additionally, when retailers place new orders with QT Fabrics, the details are sent instantly to retailers' Like Sew point of sale and a PO is automatically generated for the order.
Likewise, when QT Fabrics ships the order, details of the shipment are pushed to retailers' point of sale, creating the associated Receiving Order automatically. Any new products ordered from QT Fabrics will also be added to retailers' Like Sew point of sale and website automatically, including titles, descriptions, images, and other key product information.
This is made possible by APIs Like Sew made available to vendors, announced back in May of 2018. QT Fabrics is one of the first vendors to take advantage of and fully integrate with these new APIs.
Because Like Sew is an omnichannel point of sale system, retailers can show their available inventory online to consumers who like to pre-shop before coming into the store, or who prefer to purchase online. The Like Sew system also allows retailers to offer consumers the option to buy online, and pickup in-store (BOPIS).
