READING, Pa., Feb. 13, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Quadrant Engineering Plastic Products welcomes Mark Vose as an Application Development Manager for the Northeast territory. Mark brings more than ten years of mechanical engineering, management, sales and application experience to Quadrant. He will oversee business and application development in the Northeast and will be based out of New Hampshire. In this position, Mark will explore different ways to integrate Quadrant materials into new industries. He will report to Product Marketing Manager, Doug Mahler. Mark was previously a Technical Product and Sales Manager for QSA Global – an Illinois Tool Works division in Burlington, Massachusetts.
Doug Mahler said that "We're excited to bring on Mark as Quadrant continues to invest in growing the engineering plastics market. The business development team is key to growing the industry, and we're investing in business development to advance the available market for our customers."
Mark attended Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts and earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. He later earned an MBA from Norwich University. Following his undergraduate studies, Mark worked for Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics. He went on to work in the defense and semiconductor industries for several years, but is excited to come back to plastics. In his tenure, he has developed several patented engineering processes specific to the nuclear industry.
Mark truly enjoys materials – plastics, metals, ceramics – and the purpose and story behind each one. "My goal is really to demonstrate my prowess and come back into the plastics industry after being out for ten plus years. I'm coming in and resuming where I left off, being a part of the team and growing with the business," Mark said.
Mark hails from the New England area and calls New Hampshire his home. He has two children, and he and his family are avid skiers in the winter. In the summer, they enjoy spending time on their boat and water skiing.
