EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I., July 21, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Quantic Evans is excited to announce the release of our new line of capacitors, the TDB Series.
This new line of capacitors is the most compact yet, featuring a 1" by 1" square footprint and a wide range of voltages (10V to 125V) and capacitance values (750uF to 150,000uF). The TDB Series rugged design delivers the same high reliability found in other Quantic Evans capacitors, in a SWaP optimized package. The TDB series can be incorporated in capacitor bank assemblies, offering further versatility to meet the most unique applications.
TDB Series Capacitors utilize sintered tantalum anodes and ruthenium oxide coated cathodes operating in aqueous electrolyte. The components are hermetically sealed in a welded tantalum case with a glass-to-metal seal. The TDB Series comes in a 1.0" x 1.0" square case and has the highest power density of any tantalum capacitor technology.
This series has an unlimited shelf life, and is rated for >2,000 hours at 85°C and rated voltage or 125°C at de-rated voltage. The effective life of a capacitor in a given application is based on the specific operating voltage and average temperature.
TDB Capacitors offer a wide product range, available in five heights from 10V to 125V. Heights range from 0.329" to 0.912" and cap range values range from 750uF to 150,000uF. Stud mount options are available.
