Representatives from QuantumDigital will also be attending the tournament on September 14 at the Austin Pond Hockey Club in Austin, Texas.
The fundraising tournament is the first of its kind for the Austin Blades, an official member of STARskaters.org, with its purpose to keep ice hockey available for the disabled community in the Austin area. Advanced members of the Austin Blades have been part of the 2012 USA Sled Hockey Festival Bronze Medal Team and Rico Roman, a member of the 2014 USA National Sled Hockey Team going to the 2014 Paralympics in Sochi Russia, will be attending and playing in the event. However, this on-ice experience for individuals with disabilities is open to competitors of all skill levels.
