QueBIT Expands Advanced Analytics Team
Scarsdale, NY (PRWEB) July 22, 2013 -- This expansion follows the acquisition of Big Sky Analytics in May, with Scott Mutchler, the former CEO of Big Sky, becoming the team’s VP of Services.
Terry Taerum, a decades-long veteran of the SPSS brand, announced that he will also be joining the Advanced Analytics team on July 29th. “Terry’s extremely broad IBM SPSS experience in both the commercial and government sectors greatly expands our knowledgebase. Terry Taerum joined SPSS Inc. in the 1990’s and was one of the very first consultants in North America to use SPSS Modeler when the software (then called Clementine) was acquired by SPSS Inc. through their purchase of the British company ISL. Terry holds a PhD from the University of Calgary.
Jesus Salcedo joined QueBIT on July 15th, and will be managing the Advanced Analytics training practice. QueBIT is excited to build a brand new curriculum from the bottom up, focusing on the needs of its IBM SPSS clients. The launch of these new offerings in late Q3 promises to fill an increasing need for a training product infused with rich field experience. Prior to joining QueBIT, Jesus was the IBM SPSS Curriculum Team Lead “He brings years of training experience in both SPSS Statistics and SPSS Modeler. His deep practical experience working with clients is matched by his formal training – he earned his PhD in Psychometrics from Fordham University.
