100 Quench Volunteers Clean and Paint Middle School in Palmer, Puerto Rico
KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., May 14, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Quench USA, Inc., an operating segment of AquaVenture Holdings Limited (NYSE: WAAS) and a leading provider of filtered water coolers, ice machines, sparkling water dispensers, and coffee brewers for businesses across the United States and Canada, announced its corporate social responsibility program, Quench Cares.
Quench Cares is an employee-run program that offers opportunities for Quench employees across the United States to give time and resources back to the community. Quench Cares launched with its inaugural event on Saturday, April 27th when 100 Quench volunteers joined 60 local teachers, students, and parents from the town of Palmer, Puerto Rico, at the foot of El Yunque National Park and Rain Forest, to provide cleaning, landscaping and painting for the Carmen Feliciano Carreras School. The school was hit hard by hurricanes Maria and Irma and thanks to the support of the Puerto Rico Department of Education, and under the direction of the school's principal, the school received a thorough cleaning and fresh painting of the front entrance and courtyard.

Refurbishing Carmen Feliciano Carreras School in Puerto Rico is the first of many community service projects that will be part of Quench Cares. Some of the projects planned for this year include cleaning up local watersheds, volunteering at community events, and raising money for local charities.
