Quitman School District (MS) Launches Intuitive Online Student Registration Solution from InfoSnap
Austin, Texas (PRWEB) July 01, 2015 -- Quitman School District in Mississippi will move its student registration process online with a customized and secure solution. The district partnered with InfoSnap to streamline data collection for new and annual student registration, improving business processes for administrative staff. Seamless integration between InfoSnap and Quitman’s student information system (SIS), SAM7 by Central Access, will result in accurate and up-to-date student data by the first day of school.

This online solution will remove new and annual paper registration packets. Families who have more than one child in the district can ‘snap’ data from one student to another. The use of SmartForm™ technology, an intuitive tool built into the solution, will collect relevant data based on previously entered information or choices (grade, activities, medical history, etc.). The data submitted by families is reviewed and formatted to meet the district’s policies and then delivered into SAM7.
“We are significantly enhancing what used to be a laborious process. InfoSnap’s integration with SAM7 is vital. The time that will be saved inputting student data into our SIS is phenomenal. Our school administrators are very excited,” notes Mayo.
The ability to have student information in one centralized location is valuable for Quitman School District. Receiving signatures for field trip permission forms, policy sign-offs, photography releases, military consultations, and additional school related information will help the district ensure that families are better informed and involved with their children’s activities.
