Now in its 26th year, Black Hat USA returns to the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas with a six-day program. The event will open with four days of specialized cybersecurity training. The two-day leading conference will feature over 100 selected briefings, dozens of open-source tool demos, a robust business hall, networking, and social events.
At the Black Hat event, Quorum Cyber has teamed up with Microsoft to share a booth as a MISA member to help evolve its Microsoft Sentinel MDR service. Previously, Microsoft has named Quorum Cyber a Finalist in its Security Services Innovator award category, and the company's founder and CEO, Federico Charosky, a Security Changemaker Finalist.
In addition to Quorum Cyber's Microsoft booth attendance, Simpson will present at the MISA Theater on Thursday, Aug 10th, from 11:00 am to 11:20 am.
Titled "Outmaneuver Insider Threats: Generative AI for Risk Mitigation," his session explores how generative AI can be applied to user behaviors and business policies to derive actionable insights for mitigating risks. The session will discuss real-world examples of using natural language processing to analyze activity data from multiple signals and how implementing generative AI within the processes can identify anomalies and patterns indicative of insider threats.
