LAS VEGAS, Feb. 21, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The R3 Stem Cell Heroes Program has joined forces with Veterans In Pain, (V.I.P.), a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit, to provide groundbreaking exosome therapies for Veterans suffering from the devastating systemic effects of Burn Pit. The exosome procedures are being offered complimentary to Veterans.
WHAT IS BURN PIT:
During the OEF and OIF wars, government contractors burned up to 227 metric tons of hazardous waste at operating bases using jet fuel in large ground pits. Items burned included: batteries, medical waste, amputated body parts, plastics, ammunition, human waste, animal carcasses, rubber, chemicals, & more.
Exposure to these toxins has caused a traumatic impact on the lives of many service members and their families. Some of the devastating health conditions suffered by Veterans exposed include: neurological disorders, pulmonary diseases, rare forms of cancer, and many unexplained symptoms.
There have been thousands of deaths resulting from the invisible wounds of war, which represents the "Agent Orange" of a newer generation. Veterans In Pain, (V.I.P.) became aware of Burn Pit through an application received by Le Roy Torres, who will be the first Burn Pit Veteran to receive treatment through the V.I.P. and R3 partnership.
The free regenerative exosome procedures for Burn Pit will be taking place in Las Vegas at the R3 Stem Cell Training Course. In addition, over a dozen additional Veterans will receive free regenerative therapies who are suffering from joint pain and other ailments.
According to David Greene, MD, MBA, "Burn Pit is a very difficult problem without answers with conventional treatments. Veterans make significant sacrifices for America, and the least we can do is try to help! We're excited to team up with V.I.P. and hopefully improve quality of life."
VETERANS IN PAIN, (V.I.P.):
V.I.P. is the first IRS-Certified nonprofit to facilitate regenerative medical solutions for Veterans suffering from chronic pain, by connecting civilian physicians, with our country's heroes, nationwide.
Founded by its President, Micaela Bensko, V.I.P. has currently provided almost $250,000 in value-of-services through its volunteer physician network for Veterans who had otherwise been told there was no solution to their chronic pain disease, that its late-onset could not be connected to service, or after years of trying, could not obtain access to a solution due to red-tape bureaucracy.
R3 STEM CELL:
Dr. David Greene, the Founder of R3 Stem Cell, an international stem cell network of regenerative specialists having conducted thousands of stem cell procedures, joined the V.I.P. Roster in 2020. It was this partnership between V.I.P. and the R3 Heroes program, through which V.I.P.'s Veterans suffering from Burn Pit, a condition which has no designated cure, have finally been offered hope.
BURN PIT VETERAN:
The first Veteran to undergo treatment within the R3-V.I.P. Exosome Pulmonary Therapy study is Le Roy Torres. Torres has suffered from Burn Pit for years, and is a Burn Pit advocate who in 2009, launched the go-to information site http://www.BurnPits360.org, and is championed with having been responsible for establishing the first government-sanctioned Burn Pit Veteran Registry.
