Rabbi and Singer Songwriter Steven Blane brings his Love of New York and Universalist voice to the Connecting Communities event at Shrine in Harlem on June 11th.
NEW YORK, May 30, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Rabbi and Singer Songwriter Steven Blane joins the Connecting Communities Initiative event on June 11th at Shrine World Venue in Harlem.
The Project People Foundation, UJA-Federation of New York, Meals for Good, JCC Harlem, Based in Harlem, and Shrine are hosting the event which will feature world class music, inspiring conversation, and scrumptious bites and drinks in an early Juneteenth celebration as we "let the music speak!"
The Connecting Communities initiative seeks to be a hub of care, connection, and inspiration to build a multiracial, multifaith, and multiethnic community infrastructure in Harlem.
This gathering will feature opportunities to meet your neighbors, enjoy a musical set featuring gospel, Jewish songwriting, and West African drumming, and to hear directly from the artists about how their work is rooted here in Harlem.
Shrine World Music Venue's mission is to establish a positive creative atmosphere for both artists and audiences from all backgrounds.
Rabbi Blane brings his Universalist voice to the event and inspires interfaith and cross cultural love. He will feature songs from his newest album, entitled Songs for New York.
