Rachel Levi of Shoreline Center for Eating Disorder Treatment Receives iaedp Fellow
Long Beach, CA (PRWEB) November 25, 2014 -- Rachel Levi, LMFT, CEDS Founder and Executive Clinical Director of Shoreline Center for Eating Disorder Treatment, a comprehensive partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient program in Long Beach and Laguna Hills, California, has been inducted as a Fellow of iaedp illustrating her dedication and commitment to the eating disorder treatment field.
iaedp Fellow is an elevated membership status, where a candidate's collective contributions over time are evaluated. The guidelines for evaluation include:
• Five continuous years of iaedp membership,
• A minimum of 15 years in practice, preferably certified as an Eating Disorder Specialist,
• And demonstrated accomplishment and participation in the field through activities, such as teaching, presentations, training, research, writing and innovative community projects.
Each honoree receives a special certificate of recognition and will be honored at the 2015 iaedp Foundation's Symposium as a highly committed and accomplished professional in the eating disorder field.
Recommendations for Rachel poured into iaedp, attesting to her commitment and dedication to the eating disorder field.

For over 20 years, Levi has helped hundreds recover from an eating disorder on an outpatient basis. She believes it is vital to empower clients to integrate tools of recovery into their daily lives with the support of their family and friends. Rachel is one of the first to receive the designation of Certified Eating Disorder Specialist Supervisor, which has provided her opportunities to train and supervise clinicians with the most updated and evidence-based practices in the eating disorder field.
