Radiant RFID Announces VAT 5.2.3 February 2014 Release
Austin, Texas (PRWEB) February 13, 2014 -- Radiant RFID announced today that Virtual Asset Tracker (VAT), the company’s flagship asset tracking solution software, will release version 5.2.3 on February 22, 2014. Hosted customers automatically received the update on RFID handhelds and Web Asset Manager.
VAT 5.2.3 delivers quick-search functionality - a fast, unified search capability across assets, employees, locations, and departments from the web dashboard. In addition, fixed reader notifications now supports asset and employee pairing and automated messaging in exception states.
VAT 2Go, Radiant’s companion app for iOS and Android devices, now supports QR codes in addition to 1D barcodes. Vat 2Go enables fast, accurate item-level inventory and enables users to perform main day-to-day functions including asset inventory, search and replacement. Users can also assign GPS coordinates to assets. The app works in conjunction with the main VAT platform, and data is replicated to all other desktop and web clients.
The latest version builds on version 5.2.2, a system-wide upgrade released in the fourth quarter of 2013 that greatly improved speed and performance while incorporating many new features, including Mobile Storekeeper enhancements, Asset Status Check, and a Centralized Receiving and Delivery module.
