BOSTON, March 27, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Radius Bank, an industry-leading virtual bank, today announced the promotions of Carie Kelly to Vice President of Acquisition and Rachel Bourne to Vice President of Virtual Business and Partnerships.
In her new role, Carie will lead consumer and business client acquisition within the Bank's direct channel, utilizing data-driven digital marketing efforts to grow checking and savings account relationships and deposits. She specializes in sourcing, onboarding, and developing relationships with online marketing and technology partners to increase Radius' nationwide client base. This is the second promotion for Carie at Radius, who first joined the Bank in 2015 as its Digital Marketing Manager and was promoted to AVP, Direct Channel Manager in 2016. In 2017, Carie was an integral member of the team that revamped Radius' online account opening process, allowing consumers to open award-winning checking and savings accounts from any device in under three minutes. Her career has been focused on transitioning financial institutions from traditional marketing to the digital space. Carie previously worked for McDougall & Duval Advertising, CD&M Communications, and Communicators International.
As Vice President of Virtual Business and Partnerships, Rachel will oversee business deposit fintech partnerships and referral relationships, while also growing deposits with the Bank's direct business checking product, Tailored Checking. Rachel first joined Radius in 2017 as Project Manager, where she oversaw the scope, direction, and completion of initiatives for the organization, including the launch of the Bank's online account opening platform for the Tailored Checking in 2018. This account provides small businesses across the country with the ability to open a digital checking account in less than 10 minutes from any device. With her promotion, Rachel will draw upon her experience to lead the sales and onboarding of new fintech partnerships and the buildout of new customer experience platforms for the Bank's business products.
