BOSTON, Oct. 4, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Radius Bank, an industry-leading virtual bank, today announced the appointment of Mike Lenahan as Executive Vice President / Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and the promotion of Mark Francesconi to Executive Vice President / Chief Risk Officer (CRO).
Mike Lenahan, Radius Bank's new Chief Financial Officer, brings more than 24 years of finance experience to the organization. He has served in senior leadership roles at Investors Financial Services Corporation, State Street Corporation, and most recently as an Executive Director in the Corporate and Investment Bank at JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. In his new role, Mr. Lenahan will be responsible for managing all financial and residential portfolio operations for the Bank.
With over 26 years of finance and risk management experience, previous Senior Vice President within the Bank's Equipment Finance division, Mark Francesconi was promoted to Executive Vice President / Chief Risk Officer. In his new role, Mr. Francesconi will be responsible for the Bank's overall risk management and credit operations, including overseeing its risk identification and mitigation activities. Prior to joining Radius, Mr. Francesconi served in various senior leadership and strategic roles at Bank of America, TD Bank and NewStar Financial.
Mike and Mark are succeeding the former CFO and CRO, James Malerba and Shepard Rainie, who are both looking forward to their next ventures and having more time to fulfill their personal goals.
