LONDON, Dec. 3, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Rainer Hughes solicitors partner with the Brentwood Borough Council to spread joy for Christmas by putting together a Christmas events to support and raise money for charity – Kids Inspire. The Shenfield and London based law firm continues to support its local community by constantly looking after institutions that need guidance and support. The Christmas fair events have been scheduled to take place in Shenfield, Essex on the 4th and 12th of December 2021.
The Rainer Hughes team will be setting up a charity tombola and helping Father Christmas hand out gifts to children. Rainer Hughes have decided to dedicate all proceeds of both days to Kids Inspire as donation. This initiative is in collaboration and partnership with the Brentwood council as they provide all the necessary support to make these events a success.
In an official statement made by Kids Inspire representative, "Kids Inspire provides mental health and trauma recovery support for children, young people, and their families. Through a range of therapeutic and community activities; the specialist charity promotes resilience, self-awareness, and relationship building to empower positive life choices.
"The impact of the pandemic on youth mental health has greatly affected the families Kids Inspire supports. As our challenges advance, so have the needs of children and young people requesting help. With the referral numbers doubling from over a year ago, this is also reflecting in the severity of cases being presented.
"In the past year 48% of the children and young people Kids Inspire have worked with have experienced emotional distress, COVID-19 anxiety, trauma, bereavement, low mood, numbness, phobias and/or suicidal thoughts. Yet, following support from the charity, 93% of the same young people reported major changes."
Official spokesperson at Rainer Hughes stated, "We are in our Christmas spirit and doing our best to support our local charities and spread joy in the community. Covid has been a tough road and we can only imagine the turmoil kids and families depended on Kids Inspire would have gone through".
How the funds will help:
Talk Together is a programme of bespoke therapeutic services set up in response to the impact of COVID-19 on mental health. It offers a scale of support from early intervention and stabilisation, right up to complex trauma recovery support. The major changes reported by young people from this support includes:
- Improved family relationships with strengthened bonds and fewer arguments
- More able to understand their feelings and know what to do when overwhelmed
- Feeling better within themselves, found their own voice and feel proud of who they are.
- More confident to manage friendship issues or find a sense of belonging
- Learn ways to manage school-related stress and aspire for the future.
The support will encourage these major changes by giving tools and support to help young people to build resilience, self-awareness and to work on essential relationship building. In return empowering them to make more positive long-term life choices.
An official spokesperson at Rainer Hughes ended by saying "To summarise, it is as simple as we just want to play a contributing factor to the goodwill and development of these families and kids requiring professional support to get by on a day-to-day basis. We urge families and businesses to support and donate to such charities and spread the joy of giving this Christmas."
